if you stop at 22 seconds you see a lady holding a pole with the "ghost" it is a marker used to identify a tourist group not a ghost

Yep. I saw this video on a TV show. I think it was on the Sci Fi channel. They said the exact same thing, it was a cloth on the tour guide's stick. They also showed a bunch of the other tour guides, and they were all carrying these cloth sticks.

It's a piece of cloth or jacket on a stick. Tour guides use them to keep track of their group while in the busy vatican. Nothing new.
