i think you're right about the whole "government hiding things" bit. the government hides things like this because we mere humans can't handle it. We aren't meant to know these things. sometimes, creatures like Bigfoot aren't supposed to be known, because if Bigfoot really died, and those guys really found him, then bad things would start happening.
