Karl Mark was certainly a great man. Capitalism is always trying to achieve defeat by fallacious repetitions: "This is the only way of leaving. Everything else is naive idealism. An utopy". The hilarious thing is that neither capitalism nor Socialism would present humanity with total confort and self satisfaction. What kind of extention equality could bring to a tedious humanity is also to be questioned. I would still choose Socialism, of course, but life would never be a "dream on Earth".

I wonder if Orwell got the idea of the telescreen from watching this film? Two-way broadcast and transmit was way ahead of its time. |
